The Benefits of Working for Doerhoff & Associates:

Stock Ownership

We want our staff to think like business owners as they advise clients and so we offer every employee the option to purchase 1% of our CPA firm and manager level employees can purchase 5% of the firm based on an annual valuation.  If the employee leaves the firm they must sell the stock back at the current valuation.

Profit Sharing

We set targets every year for firm profitability and growth in revenue.  When we achieve those targets, we pay a taxable bonus to employees.


For the first 5% contributed by the employee, we contribute 4% match.  That is an immediate and permanent 80% return for the employee.

Technology Purchase

Since employees use technology at home for work purposes from time to time we pay 20% of the cost of home computer purchases.

Flex Time

From April 20 through Dec 31 all employees are eligible to work 4-10 hour days rather than 5-8 hour days.

Clothing Allowance

We expect employees to dress professionally in a business casual manner and we reimburse employees up to $600 for purchase of professional clothing each year.  $100 of that amount can be used to pay dry cleaning costs if needed.

Time Off

Sick leave and vacation time advance with years of service.

Life Insurance

Term life insurance at 2 times your base salary and coverage is extended to include a death benefit for dependents.

Health Insurance

We provide employee only health insurance with the employee contribution being $20 per pay period biweekly.

Health Club Benefit

For those who want to join a health club we pay a portion of the monthly fees.
